Presentations

Updated: Jun 13, 2019

From time to time I give PowerPoint presentations which usually last about an hour and sometimes involve audience participation with one of my small booklets which then remains with each participant.

Currently I am preparing one for the Friends of the Uffizi Gallery, USA. This is an introduction to the Uffizi Gallery, a personal account of my 30-year relationship with this unique museum and a reminder of the necessity of the continuation and preservation of our collective cultural heritage.

“Do You Need Art?” is the name of another presentation and booklet dealing with the issues of art in our lives and the role of the artist in society in a refreshing and entertaining way. It is a conversation about art which is relevant and engaging for all ages.

A third presentation with a hands-on introductory drawing lesson involves the use of a booklet which is custom made for each event and altered to include specific images relevant to the hosting organisation. I also organise contemporary art events for Art21 in conjunction with universities, museums, artists and literary cafes.

Thanks to the extraordinary, award-winning PBS documentary series on contemprary art entitled Art in the 21st Century, I have also been hosting preview screenings for over 10 years. Images below refer to content and materials of many different past events created with the Accademia Italiana, L'Universita di Stranieri di Siena, The Uffizi and Bargello museums, BRAC literary Cafe and the American International League of Florence.

All presentations can be provided in English and Italian.

Upcoming events will be posted here and on the calendar. To schedule an event, please contact me.
